One of our clients is a new company dedicated to delivering high-quality steelwork solutions across the UK, we pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. They are expanding their team and looking for a talented Fabricator/Fitter to help them achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate steel structures and components in our workshop according to technical specifications.
- Perform site installations, ensuring that all work is completed safely and to the highest standard.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and plans.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines.
- Travel to various sites across the UK, sometimes working away from home.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in steel fabrication and fitting.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fabrication and Welding) are preferred but not essential.
