As a maintenance team leader you will be focusing on leading a multi-disciplined team to focus on improved Reliability & OEE performance.

Specific responsibilities for the maintenance team leader include:
The development/implementation of a computerised Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
Development and implementation of repair activities – working within production requirements to improve plant availability.
Liaise with and organise external contractors, ensuring they work to strict safety guidelines and meet Ibstock’s requirements.
Hands on role but elements of desk based work as well

What We’re Looking for:

  • At least 5 year’s experience working as a maintenance engineer 
  • Must be qualified to Level 3 in an Engineering Discipline
  • Ideally be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias
  • Ideally have 2 years + as a maintenance team leader
  • If mechanically biased – need to have a reasonable level of electrical knowledge as a maintenance engineer
  • Experience with any of the following advantageous: Conveyors, Kilns, dryers, crushers, robots.
