Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 5 days
Our client, a leader in Nuclear Generation require a Training Instructor to join their team based at Sizewell
Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:
- Hold a UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience within a classroom environment delivering training material within a relevant discipline is essential.
- HNC or Higher-level qualification, in a relevant technical subject is desirable
- Holder of a recognised teaching/training qualification is desirable.
- Good understanding of the key aspects of nuclear power plant systems and operation is desirable.
- Thorough training system knowledge with experience of training support and delivery
- A strong communicator with clear and effective presentation skills
- Effective influencing and coaching skills
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise
- Strong team player with the drive to help others
- Competent with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Works well both within a team and independently using their initiative
Role information:
- Supporting training delivery to meet demand across all levels of client businesses
- Analysing training requests and client trends to identify capability gaps
- Designing and developing new training material
- Proactively gathering and interpreting data from site and training stats to advise on desired outcomes
- Maintaining training administration, including plans and trackers
- Providing training support information for the Group Head of NSA EPR Project Training
- Interacting and communicating with key team members and stakeholders
- Ensuring SMART actions are set and implemented
- Interacting with external training service providers to ensure their training is delivered and updated
- Supporting the management of external training service providers
- Representing NSA EPR Project Training at meetings when required
- Participating in forward planning activities for team and clients
