This opportunity would suit an experienced technical insurance broker, who is dedicated to providing excellent customer service whilst working in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.

As a Commercial Insurance Broker, you will play a crucial role within the established team of brokers, account executives, and claims handlers. The primary focus of this role is to handle mid to large risks, providing top-notch broking support to clients.

The role:

  • Provide broking support on all classes of commercial insuranceincluding motor, property, EL, PL, commercial combined, D&O, cyber, etc.
  • Prepare quotations, handle renewals, process market submissionsand check policy wording.
  • Develop strong relationships with commercial insurance clients and insurer partners.
  • Work on achieving renewal retention and growth rates.
  • Secure the most competitive terms to meet client requirements.
  • Conduct client visits to build and strengthen relationships.
  • Identify and act upon new business opportunities.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of commercial insurance broking experience.
  • Knowledge of mid to large size risks.
  • Skilled in handling new and existing business.
  • Strong understanding of most classes of commercial insurance.
  • Ideally working towards or gained Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications.
  • Acturisexperience is advantageous.
