Murray McIntosh is currently recruiting for a Good-InInspector/Stores Controller to work on a contract basis for a client of ours as detailed below.You will be working on a Nuclear construction project which requires on site working 12 hours days Monday - Friday as a standard week.This project will require use of staircases and a working height of 35 metres.

You will be trained to work at heights with harness training.

We require candidates who hold current SC clearance.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for receiving, managing and coordinating the physical movements of stock internally and externally to meet the project and business needs.
  • Execute waste management plans, completing inventory checks and audits and ensuring the logistics of components are managed with close relations to security and access requirements.
  • This role plays a critical part in delivering projects successfully by ensuring parts are received on time, meet the required levels of quality, and allocated in line with project schedules.
  • Work with Procurement team.
Experience:
  • 1 - 5 years + experience in similar role
  • Previous experience of inventory control procedures and practises
  • Relevant vocational/industry qualifications
