Our client, a trusted name in forklift servicing and repairs, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team in Cranleigh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel across the Southeast, servicing and repairing forklifts for clients from Bournemouth to London and Kent.
- Work on a range of forklifts, including gas, electrical, and diesel models.
- Conduct fault-finding and repairs efficiently and accurately, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
- Provide excellent customer service, building strong relationships with clients during daily interactions.
- Ensure all work complies with strict health and safety standards.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, or relevant background with HGVs, forklifts, plant hire, or experience working on ships or within the Royal Forces.
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge with the ability to fault find and repair.
- Personable and customer-focused, with excellent communication skills.
- Willing to travel between multiple client locations across the South East.
What's on Offer:
- Competitive salary at 35,000, increasing to 48,000* with overtime.
- Uncapped overtime at time and a half after 8 hours, with paid travel (door to door).
