  • Service Accounts
  • Capital Accounting


Accounting standards that apply to local government, charities and companies, their application

Project management, change management and good practice staff management

Good financial governance

All aspects of accounting service deliverables

Using Financial systems, transactions and processes

Essential Skills & Experience:

Qualifications:
CCAB qualified accountant member with demonstrable relevant finance and accounting experience with public sector, preferably local government experience.

Ability to communicate with all levels of staff/clients both orally and written

Ability to communicate complex process matters to team members and non-finance staff both orally and in writing.

Ability to create clear and concise reports that contain reasoned recommendations.

Ability to create sound evidence based arguments to support recommendations.

Computer literacy with high level skills in Excel, Word and experience of financial systems

Ability to manage resources to cope with unexpected demands or projects.

Ability to assess competing priorities and to establish a robust methodology for their resolution.

Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships internally and externally across a range of grades and technical abilities.

Ability to create confidence in own ability with senior managers.

Ability to work on own initiative
