Are you a Workshop Technician or similar with experience in the offshore/subsea industry working with survey equipment and electronics, looking for an opportunity to join a growing company who can offer career development, training and the opportunity to have a varied offshore/onshore role?

This company is a leading global provider of specialist subsea equipment to sectors including offshore renewables, marine science, Oil and gas. Having operated for over 20 years, the company is expanding creating an opportunity for ambitious and innovative people.

In this role you will be responsible for preparing and testing equipment that is being delivered to clients or returning from hire, ensuring all safety and business standards are being met. You will be completing repair tasks, general warehouse and delivery operations and providing technical support.

The Role

  • Ensuring all rental equipment is maintained to a high standard and ready for deployment to clients
  • Completing function testing, software / firmware updates and cable integrity
  • Checking, inspecting and documenting equipment returning from hire
  • Identifying any issues with equipment in order to get them repaired

The Person:

  • Knowledge of electronic engineering and the practices involved
  • Experience in working with offshore surveying equipment
  • Knowledge of interfacing survey sensors with acquisition software
