Are you a talented Design Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our UK Design Office, this can be based in Aberdeen or Bradford, managing and contributing to global design and draughting projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners, driving high standards and operational efficiency.
  • Develop systems to enhance resource synergy and align with business goals.
  • Anticipate and prepare for future challenges, adapting creatively to benefit customers.
  • Promote safety and environmental compliance, ensuring team adherence to policies and procedures.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
  • Experience in 3D modelling, FEA analysis, and conducting surveys.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the offshore crane or oil and gas industries and mechanical handling expertise.
  • Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, API Q1) and HQSE Management Systems (OSHAS 18001).
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
  • Strong negotiation, numeracy, and literacy abilities.

Requirements:

  • Practical knowledge of crane industry processes and practices, desirable.
  • Ability to foster a supportive work environment and promote employee development.
  • Excellent communication skills with all employee levels and keen financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, accounting software, SAP systems, and product information management systems.
