Immediate starts for x3 Offshore Subsea Engineers for a 3 week project to work on rig decommissioning open-water installations.

This role involves overseeing the safe and efficient decommissioning of over 50 subsea wellheads.

As a Field Service Specialist / Hydraulic Engineer

  • Safe Decommissioning Operations: Removing plugs, preparing wellheads for off-rig transport, and conducting thorough safety inspections of unused plugs.
  • Tubing Operations: Cutting, punching, and setting plugs to facilitate the secure removal of wells.
  • Rig Connections: Seamlessly managing rig connections, surface operations, and water systems for plugging and abandoning wells.

Responsibilities

  • Efficient Wellhead & Hydraulic Operations: Operate valves, land wellheads, and perform tasks such as circulating fluids, cutting tubing, and setting plugs to ensure safe well shutdowns.
  • Rig Connections & Surface Operations: Use lightweight equipment to connect rigs, manage water systems, and safely plug and abandon wells.
  • Reliable Wellhead Maintenance & Safety: Extend the longevity of older wells through thorough inspections and safe reconnections to prevent damage.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in subsea operations, particularly in deep-water or open-water environments.
  • Strong ability to address complex challenges and deliver exceptional results under high-pressure, technically demanding conditions.
  • Hydraulic and ball valve experience (advantageous).
  • Mechanical background and understanding of mechanical systems (preferable).
  • Open-water experience (strongly desirable but not essential).

Must have offshore certs
£750 per day
3week contract, 3 week off, 3 week back on. (6 week in total)
