Clark Resources are currently assisting our client, a leading provider of rental equipment to the offshore industry to customers around the world, in sourcing a full time Lifting Equipment Inspector.
The successful candidate will hold previous experience in a similar position, be LEEA /LOLER or Puwer qualified.
Magnetic Particle Inspection and Liquid Penetrant Inspection certification (either SNT or PCN) are highly desired but not essential to be considered. Candidates must hold a full UK driving license and have a thorough understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations.
The ideal candidate will be based in or around the Aberdeen area and will provide services to various clients on site. A company vehicle is provided as part of the offer package.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out a thorough examination of a wide range of lifting & manual handling equipment and accessories on customer sites and the companys workshop ensuring the equipment complies with the relevant industry standards.
- Where required carryout the appropriate NDT examination(MPI or DPI).
- Liaise with Inspection Supervisor and customer regarding progress of the job, report any concerns relating to the work scope and any integrity concerns in a timely manner.
- Produce a clear and concise report detailing all equipment examined highlighting any defects or recommendations.
- Carry out risk assessments and method statements as required.
- Carry out work in accordance with the Company Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality systems and take an active part in the compliance and improvement of same.
In return we offer an industry competitive salary, dependent on experience to £37500.
