Job Title: Electrician
Location: Aberdeen.
Salary: 42,000 - 45,500 per annum

A skilled Electrician to manage Social Housing projects in Aberdeen. This mobile role involves working across various sites, with full support including a company van, fuel card, uniform, tools, phone, and laptop provided. You'll be responsible for both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring all electrical systems are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete PPM and reactive repairs to electrical systems and associated plant.
  • Carry out real-time documentation using a PDA for start/wait/stop times and service completion.
  • Manage plant faults, breakdowns, and ensure safety compliance through risk assessments.
  • Maintain and update gas and electrical systems, ensuring all certifications are up to date.
  • Assist with other duties as required, including fault finding and installations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 3 industry qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ).
  • 18th Edition essential, 2391 Testing & Inspection preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally in social housing.
  • Full clean driver's license and ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check (required for Ministry of Defence work).
  • Multi-skilled with fault-finding expertise.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
