We are working with a growing food manufacturing client currently to recruit a Technical Assistant Manager for their site in Aberdeen to join their team on a dayshift role.
The main duties of the role are to maintain and develop the site Quality Management System, support the current Technical Manager, management of the site microbiological, chemical and organoleptic testing program, and completion of internal and external KPI reports.
Additional duties
- To provide technical and administrative support to the site, our customers, the sales team and the technical department.
- Completion of customer KPI's and score cards.
- Completion of technical documents as requested by customers, enforcing bodies, and internal customers.
- To assist in completion of internal and external audit documents.
- To participate in factory visits and audits.
- To prepare technical reports and trend analysis as required by the business.
Experience
- 12-18 months experience in a similar role would be expected for this level of role within food process
- Chilled food experience would be highly beneficial
- An understanding of HACCP principles and auditing (e.g., Quality management System, GMP, and hygiene).
- Previous experience in preparing technical review documents such as customer complaints, GMP audits and microbiological results.
