I am seeking an ERP Implementation Manager for my client in Aberdeen to commence work in January on a 6 month fully on-site FTC with an annual salary of up to £50k pro rata.
Job requirements:
As the ERP Implementation Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the full implementation lifecycle of Business Central across multiple departments within the organisation.
You will ensure that the project meets all objectives related to scope, timeline, budget, and business goals, while effectively managing stakeholder expectations.
Duties including but not limited to:
Coordinate with project stakeholders including department leaders and ERP vendors to gather requirements, create execution plans, allocate resources, and manage timelines for ERP deployment, integration, and optimisation.
Ensure the project stays within the predetermined budget, scope, and schedulewithout falling short of expected quality standards.
Find and mitigate potential risks, troubleshoot issues, and share periodic progress reports and analytics with senior management.
Oversee ERP testing to uncover potential risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
Ensure smooth rollout and optimal user adoption, conduct training sessions in conjunction with ERP software providers and provide ongoing support to end-users.
Address any arising issues or concerns, helping end users get comfortable and proficient with the new system.
Monitor the project's progress and performance, ensuring that it stays on track in terms of budget, timeline, and quality and manage allocated resources effectively.
Supervise quality control processes to meet required standards and specifications.
Maintain in-depth documentation and report to senior management on project plans, deliverables, and changes for transparency and accountability.
Communicate project updates, milestones, and progress to all stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Collaborate with ERP software (and supporting platform) vendors for timely service delivery and hands-on technical support.
Execute change management strategies to help organisations adapt to new technologies and business processes.
Ensure ERP systems comply with key regulations and standards to prevent legal issues.
Make constructive recommendations to facilitate on-time and on-budget implementation
Lead the project team through all phases of implementation, including system configuration, data migration, testing, user training, and go-live.
Ensure that the ERP system integrates effectively with existing systems and processes.
Manage expectations and address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders.
Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring that each department's unique requirements are understood and addressed.
Foster a collaborative environment where team members feel empowered to contribute ideas and solutions.
Provide training and guidance to end-users and key stakeholders to ensure system adoption.

Skills & Experience:
Previous experience implementing an ERP system essential (preferably for a manufacturing business).
Experience with ERP systems (Business Central preferred)
A self starter and doer with a track record of delivering and driving results.
Ability to develop and deliver presentations .
Highly organised and ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.
Strong interpersonal skills, flexible and approachable. A people person who can form trusted relationship with stakeholders.
Effective communicator both written and verbally .
Ability to work in team environment with a wide range of stakeholders and subject matter experts
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
