Senior Project Planner - Power - Renewables Aberdeen

We are currently partnering with a multi-disciplinary engineering services contractor specialising in Pharmaceuticals, Data Centres, Power Transmission and distribution. Due to their continued success they are seeking a Senior Project Planner to aid the growth of their renewables division.

Responsibilities

Project Scheduling and Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including milestones, critical paths, resource allocation, and deliverables for renewable energy projects.

Stakeholder Management and Reporting: Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates, and ensuring that all parties are aligned with project timelines and expectations.

Risk and Resource Management: Identify potential risks to project schedules and resources, developing strategies to mitigate those risks and ensuring that the project remains on track.

Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets and costs, ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget. Provide recommendations for cost optimization while maintaining quality standards.

Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure that the project complies with local, national, and international regulations, environmental standards, and safety codes, including preparing required reports and documentation for permitting.

Requirements

3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Quantity Surveying or strong trades background coupled with technical ability may be considered

5+ years experience / demonstrate ability to develop and implement plans, monitor and control work

Must be capable of producing project plans from design and commercial information
