Caledonia Recruitment is seeking a Transport Coordinator for a leading Freight Forwarder located in Aberdeen.
The ideal candidate should have experience in coordinating European road freight shipments on a daily basis.
Responsibilities include planning transport routes, daily schedules, and ensuring cost efficiency and profitability in transportation.
The role involves managing customer collections, packing services, deliveries, and coordinating drivers and vehicles.
A salary of £30,000 to £35,000 is offered, and candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Caledonia Recruitment is currently assisting a leading Freight Forwarder to recruit a Transport Coordinator based in Aberdeen.

The right candidate will have experience dealing with day-to-day coordinating the European road freight shipments.

Planning and coordinating transport routes and daily schedules for Europe for the fleet, ensuring that the transportation is cost efficient and profitable
Ensuring effective management in arranging customer collections, packing services and deliveries
Working with customers and office staff, planning routes and scheduling delivery times, co-ordinating the drivers, agency drivers and vehicles for work
Load planning for European trailers
