We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Infrastructure Lead to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of leading or supervising a technical team and will bring a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering outstanding results. You will lead a small team in addition to providing operational and project support in an enterprise setting. If you are a team player, possess excellent communication skills and have a strong technical background wed love to hear from you.


What youll do

  • Technical and service quality assurance
  • Leading the prosource.it team
  • On-call rota management
  • Serving as the last internal point of escalation for technical or functional queries
  • Managing incidents, requests, problems and changes in accordance with ITIL processes
  • Carrying out capacity management, knowledge management and asset management in accordance with ITIL processes
  • Planning and implementing changes in accordance with change management processes
  • Engaging and coordinating with third-party vendors and support providers as required
  • Managing the full lifecycle of all software and services within the service scope
What to bring
  • Enterprise infrastructure support experience ideally within medium to large enterprise setting
  • Previous experience of supervising or leading teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with individuals up to Senior Leadership level
  • Experience of installing, configuring and supporting infrastructure technologies and products in both virtual and physical environments
  • Working experience of the following:
  • -Microsoft Windows Server
  • -VMware vSphere
  • -Microsoft Azure management and support
  • -Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
  • -Network Support (Firewalls, routers, Switches, wireless)
  • -Microsoft 365
  • Experience of dealing with third-party vendors and support providers
  • Knowledge of Information Security best practices
  • Skills in root cause investigation and the ability to resolve business critical issues
  • An awareness of emerging technologies and demonstrable desire to stay current
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to be self-supporting and proactive
  • Experience and understanding of working within an ITIL environment
  • Relevant technical certificationssuch as Microsoft, VMware etc.
  • Willingness to participate in an on call rota
