Experienced HGV Driver (Class1 C+E)
Reports to: Transport Manager
Location: Aberdeen
Due to the expansion of the company, Global Crane Services are looking to employ Ballast/Heavy Haulage Drivers to join the team at our Aberdeen depot in Scotland.
Global Crane Services, a Division of Global Port Services (Scotland) Ltd., are the largest crane hire company in Scotland.
We are renowned for the quality of service provided to our clients and have a very modern & current fleet of cranes.
Responsibilities
You should hold an HGV 1/C+E Licence.
Hold a current valid Driver Qualifications Card & Drivers Tachograph Card.
No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
Understand and be able to comply with Drivers hours and Working Time Directive legislation.
Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety standards and to report defects in line with current guidelines.
Should comply with company and on-site health and safety requirements.
Excellent communication skills.
Wear company supplied PPE.
Qualifications
Fluent in both spoken and written English
Forklift ticket is preferred but not essential
CPCS/NPORS Slinger/Signaller ticket is preferred but not essential

Good understanding of correct load securing procedures
