About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Indirect Buyer Specialist to join a team working on exciting energy sector projects. This temporary role offers the chance to make a real impact in sourcing and procurement operations for indirect commodities, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage sourcing and procurement processes for assigned indirect commodities, focusing on cost savings, quality, and cash flow targets.

Oversee the full procurement cycle, from supplier selection to contract management.

Lead negotiations and establish contracts with medium to high complexity and volume.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence supplier decisions to drive results.

Identify and assess supplier capabilities, ensuring sustainable cost reductions and process improvements.

Stay updated on commodity trends and align with global strategies to optimize supplier performance.

Key Requirements:

A degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

Strong Microsoft Excel Skills

Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.

Strong negotiation and communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
