Are you an engineer with mechanical and hydraulic experience looking for a land-based role to support maintaining the largest wholly UK-owned fleet engaged in the UK's offshore industry with their planned maintenance?

On offer is the opportunity to join the team where the main purpose of the role is to carry out mechanical repairs onboard the fleet of vessels also to carry out preventive maintenance on Deck equipment.

This role would suit a sea going or ex-sea going engineer looking for a land-based role with a company that offer a variety of different and interesting opportunities in time.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all shipboard repairs are in a safe, efficient manner
  • Maintaining all tools and equipment is maintained to a high standard
  • Keeping company approved Planned Maintenance / Purchasing / systems are kept fully up to date
  • To ensure all appropriate PTW's, Isolations, Risk Assessments, Method Statements are in accordance with the tasks in hand. Stop The Job must be initiated should any unsafe practices be observed
  • Actively promoting and progressing the company QHSE Policies.
  • Stop the job when required

The person:

  • Engineer with Mechanical and Hydraulic experience
  • Experience in a similar role preferred
