I am delighted to be supporting a business in the recruitment for a Transactional Finance Lead for a short term contract until March 31st. This is a role suited to someone with experience managing a large transactional finance team and available on short notice.

My client is a business based in Alfreton, they are a leader in their industry and in an exciting period of development and change. They operate a flexible working pattern with 3 days at home and 2 days in the office.
Description
- Owns and provides leadership to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams
- Manages the month end process for transactional services ensuring that accurate, timely and meaningful financial reporting information is provided to internal and external stakeholders as required
- Sets up and embeds the new Master Data Function
- Assesses, designs and implements controls over AP, AR and Data Management processes
- Works closely with the treasury function to manage working capital and cashflow.
- Manages stakeholder financial relationships.
- Ensure appropriate financial decision support is provided to the Financial Controller and other senior management where required
- Provides input to all relevant projects ensuring core processes are considered and suitable solutions developed.
- Drives a culture of continuous improvement across the Transactional Services function
Profile
- Extensive experience in managing a Transactional Services Team
- Experience of leading and managing a large team in a complex structure
- Experience of managing large volumes of complex data and the integrity of complex data interfaces
- Managing the production of cash flow projections
- Experience in Continuous Improvement
- Educated to Degree level (or equivalent qualification/experience) plus significant specialist experience
- Strong leadership and motivational skills evidenced by strong specialist financial management and financial strategy experience
- Ability to frequently communicate at most senior levels of an organisation and develop relationships with key senior external stakeholders
Job Offer
The successful candidate can expect a starting salary up to £76,000 (pro rated) + 3 days home working + an immediate start
