Your Role

As a Quality Engineer, you will be at the heart of our Quality Management System (QMS) compliance efforts. Working closely with the QEHS Management team, you will ensure our processes and products meet the highest standards. Your role will involve managing quality control, analyzing customer complaints, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • QMS Compliance:Ensure the local Quality Management System aligns with ISO9001 standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Participate in team meetings to evaluate and develop new products, ensuring compliance with customer and legislative requirements.
  • Quality KPIs:Support and monitor quality KPIs during project phases to achieve targets.
  • Non-Conformance Management:Handle non-conformance and concern management efficiently.
  • Stakeholder Liaison:Coordinate quality concerns with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Corrective Actions:Implement effective containment, corrective, and preventive actions using the Global 8D approach.
  • Project Meetings:Attend project core team meetings as the quality representative, providing status updates and managing risks.
  • Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to business improvement initiatives.
  • Training:Deliver training and toolbox talks related to quality activities.
  • KPI Reporting:Report site KPIs/metrics, highlight performance, compliance, and improvement initiatives, and generate action plans.
  • Quality Control Systems:Implement and manage robust quality control systems to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Internal Audits:Schedule and plan internal audits, address issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Certifications:Manage and maintain customer-specific certifications and audits.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:Adhere to company policies.

What we need from you:

Key Skills:
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and experience in an ISO-compliant environment.
  • Experience conducting internal audits and managing compliance systems.
  • Strong knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies such as 8D.
  • Ability to manage systems to ensure process input variables are in specification.
  • Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge and experience of inspection processes and equipment.
  • Proficiency in root cause and corrective action tools (e.g., 8D, Cause and Effect Diagram, 5 Whys, Pareto Diagram).

Qualifications:
  • Preferable: Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
