We are looking for a reliable and experienced 7.5-tonne driver on behalf of our client in Alfreton. This role involves delivering a variety of goods to various locations across the midlands region. A significant aspect of this role is handball, so physical fitness and a proactive attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe and efficient operation of a 7.5-tonne vehicle.
- Timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Manual handling and handball of various goods.
- Completion of necessary paperwork and delivery documentation.
- Adherence to all road traffic regulations and company policies.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle.
- Providing excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Valid UK entitlement, CPC & Tacho.
- Proven experience driving 7.5-tonne vehicles minimum 2 years.
- Strong physical fitness and ability to perform handball duties.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday 5am starts.
- Ongoing, regular work
Pay: £13.50
