An opportunity has arisen to drive for our Client based in South Normanton, just off Junction 28 of the M1. These positions each have realistic Temporary to Permanent opportunities for the right people.
The first few days with the Company will be spent Training on all aspects of the role and going out with established Drivers to understand the full nature of the job. Deliveries are all documented on hand held tablets, so Drivers must be fully understanding of these before venturing out on the road.
Once completed, you will then be responsible for the delivery of a variety of goods mainly to local DE and NG Postcodes with occasional distance work as and when required.
Start times vary between 0400 and 0700, and the typical working day is between 10 and 12 hours, Monday to Friday.Very little handball is involved and goods are mainly palletised.
Requirements:
- HGV/LGVCClass 2licence
- ValidCPCand digital tachograph card
