Business Development Manager

Are you an experienced sales professional looking for a new challenge in the trade industry? We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our leading client within the construction industry, focusing on the Midlands region of the UK.

This hybrid role offers a mix of office, home, and field-based work, providing you with flexibility while engaging in a variety of tasks to drive sales and build client relationships.

The Package:

  • Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell a range of high-quality products to existing and potential clients.
  • Generate and follow up on leads to identify new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring regular contact and quarterly visits.
  • Communicate product updates, market developments, and client feedback to the General Manager.
  • Collaborate with the sales and estimating teams to ensure accurate quotes and smooth project progression.
  • Represent the company professionally to maintain a positive public image.

The Candidate:

  • Proven sales background in the fenestration or construction industry.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (training provided for internal systems).
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of sales promotion techniques and contract negotiation.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and occasional overnight travel.
