Metalis are working alongside a specialist manufacturer based in Alfreton who are recruiting for a CNC Lathe Operative to join the team.
The role will be on a temporary ongoing basis, with a view to go permanent for the right person - we are therefore looking for an immediately available candidate.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC Lathe machine to produce parts according to specifications
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Performing routine machine maintenance as and when required
- Inspecting finished parts for quality assurance
- Working independently as well as in a team
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working on CNC Lathe Machinery (Setting is desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work form drawings and specifications
- Immediate availability to start work
Shifts & Salary:
- 16.00ph
- Monday - Thursday, 12 Hour Shifts (option for days only Monday - Friday also)
- Alfreton, Derbyshire
- Temporary ongoing with a view to go permanent
