Trainee CNC Operator
- Opportunity for an individual with basic / limited engineering or machine operating experience to develop.
- Either rotating mornings afternoons or permanent nightshift available.
Job opportunity for a trainee CNC Operator to develop skills working with STAR sliding head or general CNC lathes. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible operating the machines. Setting experience will be developed over time. Chance to develop a career within engineering!
Salary & Package: £13.73 to £16.01 per hour depending on shift pattern. 25 days holiday + banks.
This Trainee CNC Operator job will suit:
- A Machine Operator / Production Operative who wants to develop within the precision engineering sector.
- Basic CNC knowledge would be an advantage.
- Flexible to work either mornings / afternoons in weekly rotation, or a permanent nightshift (all midweek).
The Trainee CNC Operator job will involve:
- Initially just operating CNC machines to manufacture components.
- Learning Fanuc based systems to eventually set the machines.
- Following engineering drawings to ensure products confirm.
- Learning to inspect components after production.
This job is commutable from Alfreton, Ilkeston, Belper, Heanor, Ripley.
