Project Planner 

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Project Planner to join a leading shopfitting business. This role will suit a person from either a Project Planning background or with strong organisational skills in an administrative support position. To excel in this role, you will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The role is critical in ensuring the smooth delivery of projects from concept to completion, working closely with internal teams and clients to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with design, procurement, and installation teams to coordinate project activities effectively.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns.
  • Identify potential risks or delays and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Monitor resources and ensure efficient allocation to meet project demands.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Support the Project Manager in ensuring all work adheres to health and safety standards and regulations.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in project planning within the shopfitting, retail, or construction sector.
  • Strong proficiency in project planning software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is advantageous but not essential.
