Our client is looking for a senior mechanical engineer on their water projects. This role will require travel to various sites within the Yorkshire area. In this role you will be responsible to co-ordinate all mechanical engineering functions in pre & Post contract award and achieve a successful outcome technically, commercially to the client's requirements on the project.
Key responsibilities:
- Co-ordinate the services for their proper integration into the Treatment works and liaise with other disciplines
- Oversee the production of all drawings including plant and sub-contract layouts to ensure co-ordination.
- Provide support to the Project Quantity Surveyor on commercial matters.
- Undertake & manage all labour/direct material matters
- With the Site Manager carry out regular Sub-Contract Project Reviews to plan, progress and monitor installations.
You will need:
- CSCS card & SSSTS / SMSTS & 1st Aid at Work
- Diploma or Degree qualified
- Technical knowledge of Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Water & Waste water Operations
- Experience of both pre-production and production mechanical project engineering.
- Industry experience in a similar role.
