Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + profit related bonusBenefits: Company car & comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Estimator - Steelwork, Chimneys & Flues will involve:
- Estimator position dealing with a high end range of steelwork projects such as: chimneys, flue, platforms & access, walkways, secondary steelwork, specialist steelwork, staircases, and support structures
- Dealing with enquiries from various clients via phone calls and emails
- Preparing and submitting accurate and detailed tenders within the timeframe provided
- Following up all submitted tenders, receiving feedback from clients and updating records accordingly
- Conduct handover meetings passing secured projects to production team
- Continue to develop relationships with clients to secure further business
- Liaising with colleagues to facilitate the progression of tenders and projects
- Producing estimates for projects ranging in value from £5k - £2.5m+
The ideal applicant will be Estimator - Steelwork, Chimneys & Flues with:
- Must have 3+ years estimating experience within the steelwork, chimneys or flues market sector
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, building regulations and industry standards
- Ideally will have experience using STRUMIS, however not essential
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
- Driven, enthusiastic, comfortable working autonomously
