Industry Sector: uPVC and aluminium fenestration manufacturer, high quality windows, doors and conservatories, building trade, double glazing companies, regional housebuilders, private housing developers

Area to be covered: Midlands & South Yorkshire

Based: Ideally East Midlands

Remuneration: £30,000-£35,000 basic - £40,000-£45,000 OTE

The role of the Area Sales Representative - uPVC and aluminium fenestration will involve:

  • Hybrid/ remote field sales position selling a manufactured range of uPVC and aluminium windows and doors
  • 70% of your time selling into double glazing companies that don’t manufacture their own windows and doors
  • 30% selling into regional housebuilders and private housing developers
  • New business development role with retained account management
  • Targeted to bring on two new customers per month, either double glazing companies or regional housebuilders/ private housing developers
  • Expected revenue target year one £500,000
  • Two days a week on the road, typically visiting three customers per day
  • Remaining two days in the East Midlands office and one day working from home
  • Working closely with the sales office and estimating departments

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Representative - uPVC and aluminium fenestration with:

  • 12 months+ B2B building trade field sales experience
  • Open to all building product backgrounds
  • Ideally sold to trade customers
  • Prior experience of having sold to double glazing companies or regional housebuilders/ private housing developers may be advantageous
  • Proactive on the phone, social media and with face to face appointments
  • Personable, self-motivated, confident and driven
  • Reasonable level of competence with IT
  • Knowledge of construction industry
