About the RoleWe are seeking a Engineer Scheduler to join a well-established company that supplies innovative equipment and solutions to leading retailers across the UK. Based at the Tibshelf office, you will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing maintenance activities to ensure that machinery, equipment, and facilities are kept in optimal working condition. 

Key Responsibilities of Engineer Scheduler

  • Develop and maintain a detailed maintenance schedule for all equipment and facilities.
  • Prioritize maintenance tasks based on urgency, operational impact, and resource availability.
  • Triage and manage job acceptances through customer portals and internal systems.
  • Ensure that all work orders are completed on time, adhering to customer SLAs and KPIs.
  • Monitor the progress of maintenance activities and make necessary adjustments to schedules.
  • Assist the line manager with departmental responsibilities and tasks as required.
  • Oversee and manage customer portal accounts, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

Skills and Qualifications of Engineer Scheduler

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
  • Enthusiastic and a strong team player with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Experienced in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident communicator, capable of liaising effectively at all levels via phone and email.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • Previous experience in transport or fleet management, including route planning and resource optimization.
