Are you an experienced Nip Hand looking for a new opportunity? Look no further! Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Nip Hand to join their team in Worksop. As a Nip, you'll be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of steel fixing tasks in the precast concrete industry.

This is a full time Temp to Perm position with excellent career progression opportunities.

Due to the location of this role you must not rely on public transport to get to and from work.

Responsibilities:

  • Place steel reinforcement according to design instructions, using appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Using nips to tie together steel bars and mesh.
  • Reading drawings.

Requirements:

  • Ability to accurately measure, cut, and bend reinforcement steel bars.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools and equipment, such as rebar benders and cutter.
  • Basic knowledge of concrete construction processes and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
