Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilledSemi Drycasterto join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in casting stone products using semi-dry techniques and will be responsible for producing quality stone pieces efficiently to meet production targets. This is a piece-rate position, meaning pay is based on the number of quality pieces produced, offering strong earning potential for motivated and skilled individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on a bench hand compacting and troweling up semi dry concrete mix into wooden moulds
  • Turning out moulds and placing them in a curing chamber.
  • Prepare the correct mixture consistency and quality control.
  • Carefully handle, fill, and level moulds to achieve uniformity and adherence to product specifications.
  • Maintain a steady pace of production to achieve piece rate targets while meeting quality standards.
  • Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, ensuring each item meets quality guidelines.
  • Ensure all casting areas are kept clean and orderly, maintaining a safe working environment
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to supervisors for timely repairs.

Requirements:

  • Experience:Previous experience in dry casting or a related production role is highly desirable.
  • Skills:Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and efficiently under piece-rate conditions.
  • Physical Stamina:Able to lift molds and raw materials, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
