- Assist in managing the COMAH Safety Report and emergency response plans.
- Oversee environmental management system requirements, including reporting and waste management.
- Review and update the SHE management system as required.
- Deliver toolbox talks to the workforce.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures on key risk control systems.
- Support management in engaging with employees on health, safety, and environmental matters.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions from incident investigations and audits.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements and industry best practices.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe behaviours.
- Monitor regulatory compliance through regular inspections and audits.
- Degree in Health and Safety or NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
- Experience in a hazardous industry at a similar level.
- Previous experience working on an upper-tier COMAH site (Desirable)
- Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, permit-to-work processes, and accident investigation.
- Familiarity with process safety, asset integrity, audits, and inspections.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and organisational skills.
