Our network of outstanding schools in Derbyshire are searching for dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors to support students in KS3 & KS4.
The Opportunity:
- Location: South Normanton, Tibshelf, Alfreton, Ripley, Somercotes, Swanwick and surrounding areas
- School Type: Secondary Schools
- Pay: £85 - £90 per day (Paid Weekly)
- Working Hours: Full-time or Part-time flexible days throughout the week.
The Ideal Candidate:
To be considered, you must:
- Hold a degree with a minimum classification of 2:2
- Be driven by a passion for working with students and influencing their lives positively
- Possess a deep love for your subject matter (English, Maths, Science, Sport etc)
- Radiate enthusiasm, friendliness, and approachability
- Demonstrate strong communication skills
- Approach the classroom with creativity and self-reflection
- Build robust, supportive relationships with students of diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting students in a classroom environment
- Leading small groups and providing one-on-one support outside the classroom
- Collaborating with classroom teachers to enhance the educational experience
