Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanic, hydraulic & pneumatics & comfortable fitting out new machinery as well as refurbishing & maintaining models.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the required fittings and components.
  • Assemble and install mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any issues or maintenance needs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including any repairs or modifications made.
  • Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after use.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within a mechanical or engineering environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic principles and the ability to read technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the workplace is essential.
