Staffing Match is recruiting for an Stock Controller to carry out national inventory duties, including expediting a group of commodities, ensuring adherence to targets, policies, and procedures under Inventory Management on behalf of the NHS.
Key Responsibilities as Stock Controller:
Maintain all inventory data related to products and towers.
Monitor and maintain stock levels in line with KPI targets.
Manage delisted lines to minimise write-off.
Work closely with Range Management to ensure a smooth contract transition and achieve optimal inventory levels.
Build and maintain supplier relationships through the SRM programme.
Collaborate with Operations to optimise deliveries.
Manage supplier issues through stakeholders until resolution.
Utilise WMS systems to achieve an economical stock file.
Review and update reports on behalf of the team and management.
Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies.
Explore alternative solutions and work with stakeholders to reduce product write-offs.
Comply with Health & Safety standards.
Attend and present at team meetings and stakeholder discussions.
Requirements as Stock Controller:
Divisional Experience:
Understanding of Operations and Inventory Management.
Ability to identify technical limitations and drive improvements.
Functional Experience:
Compliance with Data Protection Act 1984 and Computer Misuse Act 1980.
Strong presentation skills (both oral and written) to summarise data and identify customer needs.
Education / Qualifications / Certification Requirements:
Intermediate-level training in Microsoft Office.
High school qualification.
