Quality Engineer Circa£45,000 + car allowance Manufacturing & Supply Chain TibshelfThe Engineering & Manufacturing division of SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Engineer to be part of an expanding team with a well-established business. This is a brand new role, allowing for high levels of autonomy and an opportunity to create quality management systems from scratch.

Scope of role

- Make certain ISO9001 is maintained by ensuring that the local QMS is compliant. - Take control and management of customer, supplier and internal quality concerns. - Implement and maintain workable quality control systems and process to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. - Ensure quality issues are resolved within an efficient time frame. - Using root cause analysis tools to highlight and contain defect issues and implement corrective actions. - Encourage an inclusive quality standards culture, delivering relative training and quality activities to colleagues. - Identify areas for process improvement opportunities. - Carry out site visits to investigate quality / product failures. - Experienced Quality professional looking to step into a brand new role and with the confidence to set up quality systems from scratch. - Ideally educated to degree level in engineering, although candidate who have followed an apprenticeship route initially and with a strong track record within quality will also be considered. - Strong understanding and working knowledge of ISO9001: 2015 standards - Experienced carrying out internal audits. - A root cause analysis champion and confident using methodologies such as 8D. - Understanding of component manufacturing processes, with CNC manufacturing experience highly advantageous. - UK driving licence.
