Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 plus £5,000 car allowance and commission opportunity up to 15% of base salary

Role OverviewWe are currently seeking a Sales Manager who will be crucial in leading the sales team to drive growth within logistics services. This role is perfect for a motivated leader with a solid background in logistics sales.
Key Responsibilities- Develop Sales Strategies: Create and execute effective sales strategies to align with company goals and set clear targets.
- Manage Client Relationships: Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients while focusing on satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling.
- Lead and Mentor the Sales Team: Provide leadership, training, and support to ensure team members meet their objectives.
- Oversee Sales Operations: Manage the sales pipeline and deliver performance reports to senior management.
- Establish Pricing Strategies: Develop competitive pricing to ensure profitability while matching operational capabilities.
- Conduct Market Analysis: Analyse market trends to refine strategies for optimal growth.
- Collaborate with Departments: Work closely with operations and marketing to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Experience: Proven background in logistics sales, particularly in pallet distribution, fulfilment, and warehousing.
- Leadership: Experience leading and motivating a sales team to meet ambitious targets.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM systems and a strong IT skill set.
- Sales Expertise: Track record of achieving new business targets and excellent negotiation capabilities.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills for building relationships with stakeholders.
- Educational Requirements: Minimum of 5 GCSEs (A-C), including English and Maths.
