We are working with a big player in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, a multisite business sitting in the heart of derby, commutable from Alfreton, Somercotes, Derby, Chesterfield and other Derbyshire areas. This business receives high investment onto both sites, over 3 million pounds of investment last year and further investment and projects coming into play in the next year. Our client offers fantastic training, a full training package, including machinery specific training, air system filtration training, PSSR training and future course to make you a better engineer not only this but future progression in te business for those who are progression orientated. This site includes a variety of niche equipment including automation, silicones, conveyors, palletisers, boilers and compressors.
As a maintenance engineer your role will include a variety of mechanical biased responsibilities, including like for like component swapping, reading mechanical drawings, working on hydraulics and pneumatics, changing bearings and belts. There are various PLC systems on site, and there is ample opportunity to learn the electrical side.
