Company Overview:
We are currently partnering with a large US owned business who are big players in the pharmaceutical market, a business a turnover of 50 million and two established UK Sites, this is the right time to join this growing business. This site receives regular investment in the millions into machinery and facilities demonstrating fantastic job stability and security. You will be working on a mix of conveyors, racking systems, boilers, vacuum systems, palletisers and robotics. This site is searching for a mechanically bias maintenance engineer to join their team.

The Role:
We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing machinery through both planned and reactive maintenance. You'll be involved in breakdowns, fault finding, installation work, and improvement projects across a range of electrical and mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reactive & Planned Maintenance: Respond to breakdowns and carry out scheduled maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
  • Fault Finding: Diagnose and repair both electrical and mechanical faults quickly and efficiently.
  • Installation & Improvement: Be involved in machinery installations and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse and motivated engineering team to keep the plant running at optimum efficiency.

About You:
We are looking for an experienced, Maintenance Engineer with:

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Experience with on pneumatics, and pneumatical systems
