Job Role: CNC Machinist (Sliding Head)
Location: Alfreton
Salary: 13.75 - 19.25 per hour (depending on experience and shifts)
Metalis are currently working with a precision manufacturer, who produce high quality products and are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist (Sliding Head) to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Set and operate Star Sliding Head machines
- Check parts once they have been machined
- Carry out routine checks on machinery - fill lubricants and coolant
- Change tooling on the machines
- Read and work from engineering drawings
Job Requirements:
- Star Sliding Head experience
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings
- Programming knowledge (desired)
- Willing to work earlies and lates OR permanent nights
Salary & Shift:
- 13.75 - 19.25 per hour (depending on experience and shifts)
- Rotating shift pattern (earlies and lates OR permanent nights)
- Earlies - Monday to Thursday, 6am - 2pm & Friday, 6am - 1pm
- Lates - Monday to Thursday, 2pm - 1pm & Friday, 1pm - 8pm
- Nights - Sunday, 11pm - 6am & Monday to Thursday, 10pm - 6am
