Our client is seeking a motivated professional to join their team for a 12-month maternity cover position, based at in Derbyshire.

Role: Pharmacy Technician

Salary: £28,407 - £34,581 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week / Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the provision of pharmacy and medicine management services.
  • Support the Pharmacist in developing the Medicines Management service for the A&E Ambulance Operations Directorate.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient supply of medicines to ambulance crews.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy and clinical teams to maintain seamless service without impacting 999 service delivery.
  • Assist in medication incident reporting, investigation, and learning to enhance medication safety.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • NVQ Level 3 - Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
  • Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
  • Experience working unsupervised in a busy production-based pharmacy department.
  • Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills.with knowledge of Medicines Management.
  • Numeracy skills and ability to perform pharmaceutical calculations.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting demands effectively.
  • Full driving license.
