Our client is seeking a motivated professional to join their team for a 12-month maternity cover position, based at in Derbyshire.

Role: Pharmacy Technician
Salary: £28,407 - £34,581 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week / Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the provision of pharmacy and medicine management services.
- Support the Pharmacist in developing the Medicines Management service for the A&E Ambulance Operations Directorate.
- Ensure the safe and efficient supply of medicines to ambulance crews.
- Collaborate with the Pharmacy and clinical teams to maintain seamless service without impacting 999 service delivery.
- Assist in medication incident reporting, investigation, and learning to enhance medication safety.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 - Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC.
- Experience working unsupervised in a busy production-based pharmacy department.
- Strong problem-solving and prioritisation skills.with knowledge of Medicines Management.
- Numeracy skills and ability to perform pharmaceutical calculations.
- Good IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting demands effectively.
- Full driving license.
