In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and aligning machines, including installing and precisely positioning both the workpiece and cutting tools to ensure optimal performance. You'll inspect workpieces for accuracy and adherence to specifications, while maintaining equipment to ensure its longevity and efficiency. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during operation, ensuring smooth production flow and minimal downtime. Your expertise will be key in maintaining high-quality standards and contributing to the overall success of our machining operations.

THE ROLE

  • Setup: Position and align workpieces and tools
  • Adjustment: Configure cutting tools and settings
  • Machining: Shape components to exact specifications.
  • Monday - Friday (7:00 - 15:30)
  • 1.5% overtime rate and monthly bonuses
  • Death in Service: 4 x annual income
  • Very competitive pension scheme
