Overhead Crane Operator

The Best Connection Mansfield are currently recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to work for a well known client based in the Somercotes, Alfreton area!!

Job roles and responsibilities:

• Inspect crane for safety and functionality prior to operation
• Lift, move and position products around the factory
• Work closely with the production team to ensure deadlines are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues
• Comply with all company Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment and safe working practices
• Carry out and record regular checks
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure efficient operations
• Assist in any other tasks as deemed necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the workshop

Working hours:

• The suitable candidate must be able to rotate over three shifts...
• Days 0600-1400 / Afters 1400-2200 / Nights 2200-0600
• Pay rate: £13.50 per hour
• Potential Temp2Perm opportunity!
