We are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Representative for a well established manufacturer who specialises in taking building materials direct to end users.
The successful candidate will have the responsibility of hitting pre defined sales targets, whilst developing further business across their given region, maintaining and improving current business relationships.

Duties of the Internal Sales Representative:

  • Be proactive in pursuing new sales leads, which are given weekly.
  • Chase any enquiries and respond to all inbound enquiries.
  • Develop opportunities through contractors, developers and clients.
  • Progress the specification of impending projects, from the initial stages through to order, having full ownership of this process.
  • Ensure the customer database is kept up to date and in order.
  • Accurately report on projects which have been tracked to closure.

The ideal candidate will be resilient, with a persistent and proactive approach. It’s essential the successful candidate will be open to further training and development. Due to the nature of the end clients, it is important to conduct yourself with the highest level of professionalism and credibility. Any knowledge of the construction industry is highly beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided. Having previous experience within a sales environment or a customer facing role, again is not essential but beneficial.
