The Opportunity:

  • Location: Alfreton and surrounding areas
  • School Type: Secondary Schools
  • Pay: Starting at £90 per day for 6.5 hours (8.30am - 3.30pm)
  • Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday or Part-time flexible days throughout the week.

  • Hold a degree with a minimum classification of 2:2

  • Possess a deep love for your subject matter (English, Maths, Science, Business, Sports, Psychology, Art, Drama, Food, Music, Economics, etc.)
  • Radiate enthusiasm, friendliness, and approachability

  • Approach the classroom with creativity and self-reflection
  • Build robust, supportive relationships with students of diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Offer invaluable support to both educators and students, ensuring effective classroom management during teachers' absences.
  • Seamlessly deliver pre-planned lessons, maintaining the continuity of the learning process.
  • Actively engage in various classroom activities to support the teaching and learning experience.
  • Step in to oversee tutor groups when necessary, ensuring an uninterrupted educational journey.
  • Employ a range of strategies to uphold a positive and conducive classroom atmosphere, effectively managing student behaviour.
