Job Title: Child Protection Social Worker

Location: DerbyshirePay Rate: Up to £35 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

We are looking for 3 experienced and dedicated Child Protection Social Workers to join our busy Children and Families Team in Chesterfield.

As part of this dynamic team, the successful candidates will be based at The Quad in Chesterfield and will work in a fast-paced environment, making a real difference to vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality social work services to children and families at risk.
• Engage in Court work and legal processes, including preparation of reports and attending hearings.
• Carry out assessments and develop plans to safeguard and protect children.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals, agencies, and families to ensure the best outcomes for children.
• Ensure compliance with child protection policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of social work experience, with proven expertise in child protection.
• Experience in Court work and knowledge of legal processes.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a varied and demanding caseload.
• HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration as a social worker.
