LAB. are supporting a local family business looking for reliable drivers to support their client demand across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and SouthYorkshire.

Job Description:
As a Road Sweeper Operator, you will be responsible for operating street-sweeping vehicles and equipment to ensure that roads, and public spaces are kept clean and debris-free. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our streets, making it a rewarding opportunity for a committed professional.

*Full in-depth Training will be given to the correct candidate if you have driving experience within a similar industry*

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate road-sweeping vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sweep streets, and other public areas to remove debris, leaves, litter, and other waste.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance of sweeping equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
• Report any issues with roads, pavements, or equipment that may require further attention.
• Follow established routes and schedules to ensure all assigned areas are thoroughly cleaned.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public, addressing any concerns or queries politely.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid driving license with the necessary endorsements for operating sweeping vehicles (Driver CPC).
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to perform minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Good physical fitness, with the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and public safety.
